About the owner
Sunet is from Boksburg and has an honors degree in Education and Career guidance and counseling.
Combined with her passion for children and her Honor’s Degree in “Education – career guidance and counseling” she started her own, Educational Center almost 10 years ago and the centre is now already well-established.
She has also been running the Future Wings Boksburg Branch since 2019 and has many years of experience as a teacher. And has also been a franchise owner of the Giving Children Wings Reading and helped them develop a mathematical program to assist children that struggle with maths
About us
At, Boksburg Educational Centre, we are a small, happy home-school family in English and Afrikaans that strives to ensure that all our students receive learning support that will suit their needs on a daily basis, the centre focuses to support children with maths and reading, among other educational limitations; Our services include:
- A loving home for children with special needs, remedial requirements as well as extra classes for maths and science up to Gr 12, and have seen higher marks from all our students.
- a Study methods tutoring program.
- An aftercare – homework support system.
- Occupational therapy exercises, eye exercises, and an auditory exercise program form part of our remedial program in our daily routine to improve concentration, reading, and mathematical skills in our students.

Teacher Denise has been working with special needs children for more than twelve years. Her passion,
commitment, and special gift brought hope to many children and parents. She has a special
understanding, compassion, support, and love for each child.
Tamia is busy with her matric exam at Boksburg High School (2023). She has design and art as subjects
and she took on the responsibility for creative art, she also coordinates the events and assists with
admin and overall support as needed.
Teacher Lee has been teaching maths at Mastermaths for from 2012 – 2020. She then started at BEC
as our maths and English teacher. She has gathered valuable knowledge and experience mainly with
the intermediate phase however, she teaches from grade 3 to grade 10 covering all sections. From 1992
to 2011 she worked at Standard Bank in the international division. She has a Certificate in International
Banking and is studying a BED (Int) in mathematics and English. Her warm personality and ability to
teach on different levels make maths fun and enjoyable. Teacher Lee also teaches maths extra classes in
the afternoons.
